About the author

Like many authors, I grew up loving stories. Those with an element of myth or magic have always been my favourite, and as an only child, I would often be found reading... whether that was at home, in the park, on the train... wherever I was allowed to keep my nose in a book! 

Stories have the power to transport us to other times and places, and to open our minds to new ideas, and this love of reading led me to a love of writing.

 

Having written two non-fiction books, one for adults and one for children, I continue to write. Myth and wonder is still a favourite subject of mine, and I am currently working on an adult fiction novel, with plans for more children's books in the future.

 

I live in Norfolk, U.K. with my family, both human and animal. I am a lover of nature as well as books, and my favourite places to be are walking in the woods or by the sea.
